Marriage Mentoring & Wedding Officiant
Marriage is an institution created by God for one man and one woman to become husband and wife for as long as they both shall live. As such, we at Rose Church want to ensure that any couple we marry is set up for a successful and lasting marriage. Ultimately, that is dependent upon those making the vows, but we approach our role with a profound sense of responsibility. We’re so excited for you to take this next step in your relationship and want to help set you up for a successful marriage. Requirements for a Rose Church Pastor to Conduct Your Wedding
Relationship With Jesus
Both bride and groom must individually profess a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).
Marriage Mentoring
The couple must complete marriage mentoring through a Rose Church approved marriage mentoring couple. Marriage mentoring is 4-5 sessions with a mentoring couple completed 2-3 months prior to your wedding day and costs $250.00
Officiant
There is a fee of $250.00 for a Rose Church pastor to conduct your wedding. This fee covers the planning and officiating of the ceremony. In addition, all travel and lodging expenses for the pastor must be covered. You may also choose to give your officiant pastor a gift but it is not required.
Church Involvement
The couple must be committed and involved in the life of Rose Church; this includes but is not limited to: attending services, tithing, serving on Team, etc.
