For the last 3 years as a community the cry of our hearts has been “welcome home”. It is our deepest desire that those who call Winnipeg home would have a spiritual home - a place to encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, connect with others, raise their kids, see revival, heal from past hurts, fall in love, mature in their faith, have fun, belong to a family and make a difference in the world. 

 

Since launching Rose Church in September 2020, amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, we have seen God move beyond our wildest dreams! From over 130 people making decisions to give their lives to Jesus, to giving away tens of thousands of dollars to our outreach partners, to a hundred thousand people streaming Rose Worship music. The last 3 years have been nothing short of miraculous and we are so grateful to God for all that He has done! 

 

Paul’s letter to the church in Corinth reminded them that what God had prepared for them was greater than what they had ever seen or heard and at Rose we know that the best is yet to come. As we step into this next season we are more expectant for a move of God than ever before! By God’s grace we have secured a lease on a beautiful facility located in Transcona. 

This building is much more than brick and mortar, it’s a declaration that Rose Church is here to stay. We are laying down roots and building a foundation that will ensure that generations to come will have the opportunity to hear the gospel and discover Jesus in our city. We are establishing a place where miracles will happen; where lives will be forever changed by the Holy Spirit because Winnipeg belongs to Jesus.

There is still a lot to be done to get our new home ready but there is much to celebrate! We cannot wait to see all that God has in store. We’ve said it before but this time it holds a different kind of weight: WELCOME HOME Rose Church!
